A 2010 limited edition release of 750 bottles by Laphroaig for Paris Duty Free. Matured in a Hogshead barrel for about 18 years before a Quarter Cask finish lasting for an additional 2 years, this was a selection by the Laphroaig Distillery Manager, John Campbell and Philippe Lanusse of Paris Duty Free. Rated 90+ on Whiskybase across 21 votes. "..Excellent, all on olive 'juice' (I like that), anchovies again, smoked fish, a little cider, oysters again (just any breed)... Not much medicinal notes and the peatiness is, say 'controlled'. Very good. Finish: long and extremely briny and salty.
