Finish: Silky smooth, almost creamy at first with a long, warm satisfying tail.

This double oaked Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey from Woodford Reserve delivers a rich, soft and sweet vanilla and caramel notes balanced with some oak. Matured in charred oak barrels first like the classic Woodford Reserve, this is then finished in a second oak barrel  (new heavily toasted, lightly charred barrel). An awarded Bourbon. Color: Deep Amber Nose: Rich notes of dark fruit, caramel, sharp honey, chocolate, marzipan and toasted oak. Palate: A full-bodied mix of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut, apple, fruit and spices. Amontillado is a dry sherry wine, darker than Fino and lighter than Oloroso and matures under a cap of flor and then exposed to the air for further oxidation. Toasted almonds and hazelnut are the classic aromas in Amontillado seasoned casks. Color: Rich auburn Nose: Very rich and fruity sweetness with notes of walnuts, almonds, some toffee and a touch of oak. Palate Soft sherry with a hint of caramel and a gentle finish of peppered nuts.

Amrut procured Oloroso Sherry in the Casks from Spain which were then infused with fresh orange peels for over two years after which the sherry was emptied and then filled with Amrut Single Malt for further maturation.  The noticeable citrus flavours alongside the traditional sherry notes make this Single Malt quite special.

This Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey has been made using a mashbill of 70% corn, 15% distillers malt and 15% chocolate malted rye (essentially a malted rye that has been heavily roasted, leading to its natural sugars to be caramelised to deliver dark chocolate like flavours). A limited edition release from 2019. Originally launched in 2016 as a regular release within the Kavalan range, the Sherry Oak release uses the same Oloroso sherry casks used to mature the Solist Sherry expressions except that this has been bottled at 46% strength. Essentially a 46% version of the Kavalan Solist Oloroso Sherry release to be enjoyed straight up/neat. Dried fruits, nuts and raisins are the mainstay of this release.

Released as a part of the Zodiac Series from the Paul John Distillery in India, the Mithuna is the Indian counterpart of 3rd Zodiac Sign Gemini. Unpeated and non chill-filtered, the Mithuna has been matured in American virgin oak casks and finished in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at an impressive 58% ABV.

Nose: Some liquorice along with beeswax and vanilla Palate: Rich mouth feel of coffee mocha, orange peel and spices Finish: A sweet honeyed finish lingers in the mouth along with oak tannins.

This is Batch 3 released in June 2017 and is a vatting of whiskies distilled from scottish peated barley and matured in a bourbon cask #3189 filled in May 2012 and one port pipe cask #2715 filled in March 2012 and hence "Double Cask". Nose: rich honey, some floral notes along with a variety of fruits and some oak Palate: Tropical fruits with some lime and subtle spices Finish:  Fruity with delicate oak, cinnamon with a hint of pepper. 

This was a limited release of 1050 bottles.

The flagship Indian single malt from Amrut Distillery is distilled from barley harvested from fields close to the Himalayas in India and is supposedly a vatting of various cask maturation including Ex-bourbon Barrels & PX-Sherry Butts. Nose: burnt honeycomb and toffee with some liquorice Palate: Rich with fruits, spices and barley-oak sweetness Finish: Long with layered oak spices along with cream toffee.
