This Islay single malt from Lagavulin is a Single Cask #111 whisky bottled by The Syndicate (reportedly a group of 10 whisky lovers with perhaps the right connections and a great nose & palate). Distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2014 at the Bruichladdich Distillery, only 191 bottles were released. Independent bottlings of Lagavulin are extremely rare to come by in any case.
