Selected by Film Director, Matthew Vaughn, to celebrate the release of ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’. 1991, the birth year of Kingsman agent Gary ‘Eggsy’ Unwin is also the vintage of the whisky selected for this bottling by Whisky Maker Rachel Barrie and matured in the finest sherry casks. Only 2137 bottles were released.  Color: Deep walnut brown. Nose: black grapes with antique leather, leaf tobacco. Palate: Ripe plums, citrus orange, old Jamaican ginger with ground coffee, dark chocolate and walnut raisin cake. A very special whisky indeed. Rated 90+ on Whiskybase over 100 Votes.

Only released 1310 bottles, a bottle for Travel exclusive. Matured in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Sherry cask. Colour: Deep auburn. Nose: Rich and mature fruit cake with raisin, cherry and sultana, developing into layers of liquorice, walnut fudge and ground coffee. Palate: Full-bodied sultana and malt loaf in balance with waxed plum, crescendoing to a lingering finish of black treacle, honey and walnut. (The Tasting Notes from distillery).

Sultanas, toffee and rich spices coating the palate, this is definitely worth a try for all GlenDronach/Sherry Cask Whisky fans.

This bottling is the sixth one of the series and comes in a black box adorned with a metal coin featuring the portrait of George S Grant. Distilled in 1976 (the birth year of George S Grant) and bottled on 19th May 2016.

This is indeed an incredible experience of some fabulous peat combined with toffee apples, and oily texture, a sherried palate and a long nutty finish with hints of mint. Palate: Oak flavour with vanilla, oily, spice anf some candy sweetness. Finish: Warm and long finish, spice flavour in finishing. Rated on Whiskybase at 91 Points across 14 reviews.

This highly rated Japanese single malt from the Hanyu Distillery is a quarter cask bottled in 2011 by Ichiro Akuto. Reportedly only 200 bottles were released exclusively for Mitsukoshi after vatting of 2 Quarter Casks ("Chibidaru"). A rare bottling indeed. Rated 90+ on Whisky Base by about 5 reviewers.

This rare whisky is a fantastic vatting by Mr. Ichiro Akuto (founder of Chichibu Distillery) of two single casks from two lost distilleries, a Hanyu 1990 vintage and a Kawasaki 1982 vintage. This is a special bottling to celebrate the 26th Anniversary of the Kiyosato Field Ballet.

Kawasaki distillery was owned by Mercian Corporation, also the owners of the Karuizawa Distillery, which focused on Malt whisky, while Kawasaki focused on Grain whisky. Located in Kawasaki Prefecture between Tokyo and Yokohama, Kawasaki Distillery generally used 90% corn and 10% malted barley in Refill Sherry Butts and Demerara Rum casks. Mercian became a part of Kirin Holdings in the 2000s and Karuizawa and Kawasaki were both closed. After being closed, most of inventory of casks were stored in the Yamanashi warehouse and bought by Mr. Ichiro Akuto in 2006.

This 1978 Vintage Collection from the Highland Park Distillery was originally crafted exclusively for Global Travel Retail and bottled in 2011. Nose: Cedar wood, spicy cinnamon bark and camphor. Cloudy honey with hints of ripe melon and lemon peel. Palate: Rich and spicy. Sweet marinated stem ginger, toasted wood, and hints of jasmine. Finish: Long sweet with lingering spiciness. This bottling is a homage to the Vikings' love of travel presented in a beautiful oak box, with the image of an ornate dragon's head and which catpures the spirit of Viking craftsmanship.
