The Navy Island Navy Strength rum is a 100% pure Pot Still rum. The blend is made from 11 carefully selected small batch distilled rums of various ages. Navy Strength refers to rum that is bottled at exactly 57% alcohol by volume.

Colour: Deep Amber

Nose: Typically, Jamaican: full-bodied, complex with a high density of fruit starters, citrus notes and some wax.

Palate: Vanilla, banana bread and other fruits can be clearly seen. Oily with spices

Finish: A lasting sweetness develops, which is accompanied by figs and oak spice. It remains long and constantly evolves in the mouth.

A blend of hand-selected Jamaican Rums, including some of the finest aged rums distilled in Jamaican Pot Still, this rum which has been finished for at least 12 months in Ex-Oloroso Sherry Casks. Navy Island is a small tropical island off the coast of Port Antonio, Jamaica. In the 18th century, the island was used by the British Royal Navy (hence the name).  

This rum takes on the dark flavours of the  Sherry cask including dark dried fruits, figs, raisins balanced by an inherent nuttiness.

Nose: Delicate notes of oloroso sherry, raisins and citrus in combination with heavy aromas of Jamaican Rum.

Unlike with the tradition of the classic pennsylvania rye whiskeys which is a high rye (80%-100%) mashbill, Rittenhouse is a low rye (i.e. 51%), which is a modern kentucky rye mashbill. It helps this rye whisky carries a distinct and spicy flavor. This unique kentucky straight malt whiskey has a soft, sweet, nutty character. Unlike a typical 100% malt whiskey, this whiskey is crafted from 51% malt and aged in new charred oak barrels, making it similar to bourbon and provides a new experience for bourbon drinkers. Color: Warm Umber Nose: Soft nutty notes drizzled with light caramel and milk chocolate coat a layer of fruit character (apple, dried fruit, tropical fruit).
