This single malt from Glenmorangie is handcrafted by the Sixteen Men of Tain, initially matured in American Oak Casks, this whisky has been racked into selected Madeira "Drums" for extra ageing in the final years of its maturation. Bright amber in color and slight orange hue, it has a smooth palate but fresh, citrus and spicy. The wine cask finish adds a slight sweetness balanced by some "tangy" flavours. This is an old bottling.
