A Gordon & MacPhail bottling of this Speyside Distillery which has been matured for about 15 years. Historically, Glenburgie has been mainly included in blends in the Chivas Brothers portfolio such as Ballantine's and Teacher's. 

Subtle sherry aromas with butterscotch and spices. Smooth and sweet; stewed fruits, milk chocolate and roasted hazelnut on the finish. (Tasting Notes from G&M)

One of the oldest independent bottlers in Scotland, G&M derived its name from its two founders, James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail and was originally established on 25 May 1895 as a grocery. The "Distillery Labels" are a series of bottlings that carry a distillery specific designed label licensed to G&M by the distillery itself.

Selected by Film Director, Matthew Vaughn, to celebrate the release of ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’. 1991, the birth year of Kingsman agent Gary ‘Eggsy’ Unwin is also the vintage of the whisky selected for this bottling by Whisky Maker Rachel Barrie and matured in the finest sherry casks. Only 2137 bottles were released.  Color: Deep walnut brown. Nose: black grapes with antique leather, leaf tobacco. Palate: Ripe plums, citrus orange, old Jamaican ginger with ground coffee, dark chocolate and walnut raisin cake. A very special whisky indeed. Rated 90+ on Whiskybase over 100 Votes.

A 1992 Vintage special bottling from the GlenDronach distillery, matured for 28 years in a Single Pedro Ximenex (PX) Sherry Puncheon Cask. With dark fruits, old sherry wine, sugared plum, rich leather on the nose, this whisky is full of figs and sultana pudding, velvet dark chocolate on the palate with a hint of mellow cedar cigar boxes (Producer's Tasting Notes).

Limited to 692 bottles.

Nose: Plum and blackberry liqueur with chocolate and hazelnut praline, and the warmth of freshly baked gingerbread. Appearance: Dark mahogany. Palate: Spiced fruitcake with treacle and angelica crescendos to demerara sugar, star anise and lingering espresso cream. (Producer's Tasting Notes). Limited to 692 bottles.

Only released 1310 bottles, a bottle for Travel exclusive. Matured in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Sherry cask. Colour: Deep auburn. Nose: Rich and mature fruit cake with raisin, cherry and sultana, developing into layers of liquorice, walnut fudge and ground coffee. Palate: Full-bodied sultana and malt loaf in balance with waxed plum, crescendoing to a lingering finish of black treacle, honey and walnut. (The Tasting Notes from distillery).

Nose: Sweet golden sultanas and roasted orchard fruits warmed by oak spices and hints of mint. Appearance: Dark harvest gold. Palate: Stewed sultanas and orchard fruits hold a vibrant peppery oak and ginger with a hint of toffee and vanilla in the finish. (Producer's Tasting notes).

Nose: Golden black pepper combined with prune syrup, cocoa and subtle hints of vanilla and orange blossom. Appearance: Polished cherry wood. Palate: Crisp oak and orange bitters flood through dark chocolate and cedar wood add a warming spiced finish. (Producer's Tasting notes).

A 2003 Vintage Single Cask #5553 special bottling from the GlenDronach distillery, matured for 11 years in an Oloroso Sherry Puncheon Cask for Whisky Live Tokyo 2015 and bottled as non chill filtered and natural color at an impressive 57.7% ABV.

Nose: golden syrup with a hint of cinnamon and toasted oak develops to apricots with a touch of vanilla. Appearance: Bright antique gold. Palate: Richly stewed orchard fruits and vanilla with a touch of white pepper. Boiled sweets and gentle liquorice notes appears in the long finish. (Producer's Tasting notes).

Deep copper in color, and a nose of aromatic sandalwood, winter spice and creme caramel, the palate is full of sweet and mellow almonds, orange and walnut cream with lingering cocoa (Producer's Tasting notes). 705 bottles were released in 2019. A 2008 Vintage special bottling from the GlenDronach distillery, matured for 11 years in Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks from Spain and selected by Rachel Barrie for the Professional Danish Retailers. With a burnished copper hue and aroma of honey, spices, hazelnut and raisins, the palate is rich in creamy malt, toasted oak, chocolates and honeycomb with a lingering finish of nutmeg and crystallized ginger. A limited release of about 3500 bottles in 2019.

Whilst no "Sherry Monster" that Glendronach has built a reputation as - in the more recent times - this vintage bottling from the 1970-80s from this Highland Distillery represents a different style of spirit which is increasingly hard to find. Bottled as 'Teacher's Glendronach" for Italian importers Ruffino.

This Grandeur bottling is from Batch 006 with 1180 bottles being released. Exclusively matured in the finest Oloroso Sherry Casks, this is an intense, rich, full bodied GlenDronach. Sultanas, toffee and rich spices coating the palate, this is definitely worth a try for all GlenDronach/Sherry Cask Whisky fans.

GlenDronach 21 years old is named Parliament after the parliament of rooks guarding the warehouse of the distillery. This whisky is a marraige of spirit matured in Pedro Ximenez casks and Oloroso Sherry casks from Andalucia in Spain. A full bodied and richly sherried whisky, with notes of elegant ripe blueberries, plums, candied orange, pudding. A finish which is warm with dark chocolate treacle.
