Yamazakura Pure Malt 15 Years Old Whisky

A rare & old bottling, aged for 15 years in oak barrels then in tanks and again in oak barrels and reportedly finished in wine barrels. 2400 bottles. Label has slight damage (please confirm prior to purchase) Yamazakura distillery was closed in 1998  and merged with Sasanokawa Shuzo.  Their own distillation has also gone through turbulent times in sync with the Japanese whisky market's boom and bust cycles with bulk spirit imports replacing their own production through these times.
