A non-peated single malt whisky distilled at Mars Shinshu Distillery and matured in Bourbon Barrel (#2023) at Yakushima Aging Cellar (a very unique aging environment located on a subtropical island of Kagoshima covered extensively by a cedar forest that contains some of Japan's oldest living trees. Some areas have been declared a Natural Heritage Site in 1993).
Salted caramel with toasted walnuts on the nose. A very creamy texture on the palate with chocolate pudding and very gentle spicy. Asian Exclusive Single Cask. Total 194 bottles only. Bottle numbers for reference only.
