This Whisky is a 2016 release and a Taiwan Excusive Bottling (for "Hot Malt") with only 1600 bottles being released. Berry Bros & Rudd has reportedly blended a Speyside 40 Years Old Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky and Grain Whisky for this bottling.
Berry Brothers & Rudd originally established as a fine wine merchant in the late 17th century received a Royal Warrant from King Edward VII in 1903. Since then BBR has been bottling single malt whisky and even bottled their first ever blend, Cutty Sark, as early as in 1923.

This 1988 Vintage 35 Years Old from the Bunnahabhain Distillery is a special bottling by Whisky Antique (Silver Seal) from a Single Cask #1024. Matured in a Sherry Cask for 35 Years and bottled at 46.5% this release of 60 bottles has a special label designed by The East Asia Whisky Company under the Manta Ray Genesis Edition.
The label captures the silhouette of a majestic Manta Ray made visible by the dark emerald and frigid pink clouds that emanate from its dotted pattern radiating in the colors of the marine environment it inhabits.

Whisky Fun Extract: Colour: mahogany. Nose: this is more old-school than the House of Lords. Not talking about the Scotch whisky. Prunes, old cognac, dates, chocolate, figs, whiffs of moss and old pine wood, a few mushrooms and a little liquorice, plus a few roasted nuts, especially pecans. Mouth: we're deeply reminded of some old Speyside malts by G&M. Like pre-war, bottled in the 1970s and 1980s. It is a time machine! More bouillons, chocolate, pipe tobacco, liquorice, truffles, puréed chestnuts, pears poached in Sauternes, very old Sauternes, very old Malaga… It is definitely very 'antique'. I would love to watch young whisky enthusiasts tasting this whisky, or similar whiskies, for the very first time. It would undoubtedly be a real revelation, as they are becoming so rare. Finish: rather long, rather sublime to tell you the truth. Comments: as I sometimes say, we could spend hours sipping a magnum of each to try, and fail to decide which one, between the Kinship and the Silver Seal, is our favourite. This Islay single malt from Port Ellen distillery is an independent bottle from The McGibnon's Provenance range, distilled in Spring of 1983, matured in single sherry butt #2102 and bottled in Summer of 2005. "A marriage of the sea and fruitiness on the nose, enjoy its saline and marine quality alongside the nuances of its Sherry Cask heritage. On the palate, an initially dry fore-taste runs to pepperiness, softened by the characteristics of the cask. The finish is long, warming, smokey plus the archetypal old leather from Port Ellen which runs on and on, tinged late by sea-weed and iodine. (Tasting Notes from the Bottler). Closed in 1983, Port Ellen has since become a highly collectible whisky and one with a great fan following.

This Mars Komagatake 22 years is supposedly a vatting of two American White Oak casks (#1042 and #1039), ex-sherry cask (#384), a refill (ex-Scotch) cask (#481) and is bottled at 43% ABV. Only 1,359 bottles were released. Dried fruits, smooth and gentle, vanilla and nutty with a gentle lingering finish.
Please notes there are some creases on the carton box. Sold in "As Is" condition.

This Islay single malt from Port Ellen distillery is an independent bottle from The McGibbon's Provenance Range, distilled in Winter of 1982, matured in a Sherry Cask and bottled in Summer of 2005. This is a single cask and bottled at natural cask strength, exclusive to John Milroy. Light golden color with an elegant long lingering aroma of peat and smoke. Fills the palate with an exquisite coating of tarry seaweed infused with sublime smokey peat and a long nutty fruit finish. Enhanced by the addition of a little water.
Closed in 1983, Port Ellen has since become a highly collectible whisky and one with a great fan following.

Distilled in the Winter of 1983 (most likely in the first few months of 1983 before the Port Ellen Distillery closed permanently in May 1983) at Port Ellen and matured in a Sherry Butt for 25 Years, this rare single malt was bottled by Douglas McGibbon & Co in Autumn in 2008. "On the nose, this Port Ellen is oceanic with seaweed, iodine and a character of fresh leather. The palate opens with rich smoke and creasote and develops sweetness with burnt caramel. The finish remains sweet with bonfire ashes and cloves" - Bottler Tasting Notes.
