Nose: Fresh & fruity with vanilla, honey and lemon cake.
Palate: Honeyed sweetness along with some green apples, pear and cooked peaches with subtle grassy notes evolving into salted buttery notes.
Finish: Lingering oak spices

Taste: Candied sweetness, Some nuttiness followed by salted caramel and spices. Finish: Long with warm spices like cloves and cinnamon.

We would highly recommend to add water to see how this whisky evolves beautifully with enhanced citrus and sweet mandarin notes combined with some baked tarts balanced with some minerality and saltiness. A very enjoyable whisky indeed.

This is a single cask #10198 from Clyenlish matured in bourbon hogshead for 21 years and bottled by Kingsbury at Cask Strength under its "Celtic Labels". Kingsbury has been one of the most sought after Independent Bottlers with its roots in Japan.

Nose: Honey with candied citrus fruit and bees wax Palate: The texture is firm and clean with big bold fruits present along with vanilla. Adding water enhances the notes. Finish: some sea salt and a whiff of smoke. 

 Rated 90+ on Whiskybase. Only 245 bottles were released.
