A special 2000 Vintage Springbank Whisky matured for 6 years in refill bourbon cask and then an additional 6 years in a fresh calvados cask. A part of the wood expression series from this Campbeltown Distillery, only 9,420 bottles were released.

The Springbank distillery re-started full operations in 1989 after being closed for about 10 years prior to that.
