A remarkable expression of Chichibu's craftsmanship, showcasing a balance of fruitness, sweetness, and complexity. Nose: Dried fruits, vanilla, honey, oak, dark chocolate, and spices. Palate: Full-bodied with ripe berries, plums, caramel, and a hint of smokiness. Finish: Long and warming, with lingering spices and soft sweetness.

This Japanese single malt from Ichiro's Malt Chichibu distillery is a vatting of two Chibidaru Casks #2409, #2410 which distilled in 2013 and exclusively bottled for Mitsukoshi Isetan in 2018. Chibidaru casks are the smaller casks similar to quarter casks and hence allow for greater contact with wood (i.e. higher wood to liquid ratio and hence a faster and flavourful maturation). A rare bottling.
