This is a Single Cask #7107 from Clynelish matured in a Hogshead for 18 years. Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2016 at a Cask Strength ABV of 52% by Kingsbury under its "Celtic Labels". Kingsbury has been one of the most sought after Independent Bottlers with its roots in Japan.

Nose: coffee and bitter orange. Palate: a rich mouthfeel with some dried fruit, nuts and marmalade Finish: warming, complex whisky with a dry finish and a slightly salty ending. Rated 89+ on Whiskybase. A total of 242 bottles were released.

A very Rare Single Cask of Clynelish (under the Cask of Distinction* program of Diageo) distilled in 1997 and bottled on 15th October 2018 with only 405 bottles being released. This whisky has been matured in Cask No. 7555, an ex-Sherry Butt ad bottled exclusively for Boyao Zhao (a well-known Chinese whiskey connoisseur, who has also launched a variety of other Cask of Distinction series including Lagavulin, Talisker, Port Ellen and Brora etc).

*The Cask of Distinction is Diageo's private sale program whereby individual casks (generally quite rare & special) from Diageo’s extensive stocks in Scotland are sold to private individuals. Craigellachie, one of the few remaining distilleries to use worm tub condensers produces a spirit with the usual meaty, heavier flavours. This 17 Year Old expression matured in is the first release of 2014 (Batch 98-ZC21) and has since become a part of the regular releases. Nose: Pear, apples with a creamy and buttery note, oak spices, a hint of smoke Palate: a strong start with a spicy, aromatic sweetness with tropical fruits and a creamy texture Finish: Smoky with a hint of pepper.

A new addition to the Dalmore range, this is a different release than the usual 12 Year old from Dalmore. Matured in ex-bourbon casks for about ten years and further "finished" for about 24 months in a combination of American & European casks from 3 different Andalucian cooperages (Tevasa, Vasyma, Paez) bringing together the influence of a variety of Sherry including Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez. Nose: Caramelised orange, ginger and sultanas, laced with honey Palate: Dark chocolate and crushed almonds with a dusting of cinnamon Finish: Sweet mango, pannacotta and lemon sponge cake (Tasting Notes from the Producer)

Nose: Plums with gingerbread and hints of toffee Palate: Honey, quite oily with spices such as cloves and cinnamon Finish: Warming ginger spice, lingering coffee beans and marzipan.

This 12 years release is a vatting of whiskies matured in a variety of casks including PX, Oloroso, Virgin Oak and bottled at natural colour, non chill filtered at a strength of 46%. 

Nose: Layers of orange zest, heather honey, cinnamon, butterscotch and sticky raisins, with notes of mocha lingering in the background. Taste: Bursts of orange zest, heather honey and damsons, followed by lashings of mocha, dark chocolate, cinnamon, figs and dates. A Gordon & MacPhail bottling of this Speyside Distillery which has been matured for about 15 years. Historically, Glenburgie has been mainly included in blends in the Chivas Brothers portfolio such as Ballantine's and Teacher's.

One of the oldest independent bottlers in Scotland, G&M derived its name from its two founders, James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail and was originally established on 25 May 1895 as a grocery. The "Distillery Labels" are a series of bottlings that carry a distillery specific designed label licensed to G&M by the distillery itself.
