This Speyside single malt from Mortlach distillery was specially bottled by Gordon & MacPhail to commemorate the Royal Marriage of H.R.H Prince Andrew and Miss Sarah Ferguson on 23rd July 1986. A marriage of whiskies distilled in the year of 1959 and 1960 representing the birth year of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson this was released in 1986.

This is one of Royal Marriage Series (Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson) 6 special bottlings. Please note the condition of the bottle, fill level and the box. Additional images available on request. Sold in "as is" condition.

Oban Distillers Edition releases have won Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2008 and 2011. It also won International Wine and Spirit Competition Gold in 2002 and 2010 (Best in Class). In 2020, it won a third Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Matured in American Ex-Bourbon and Spanish Ex-Sherry casks, this 35 Year Old whisky from Old Pulteney is the Limited Edition First Release of 2014 with a total outturn of about 1350 bottles. The exquisite wooden box packaging is a clear reminder of the Distillery's maritime heritage. "Honeyed sweetness, exotic spices and citrus is followed by fruit cake and bitter chocolate. Over time gentle undertones open up with hints of fresh vanilla and sticky toffee pudding. Sweet and spicy and quickly develops a range of signature Old Pulteney flavours from honey, rum soaked raisins and Californian oranges to the heavier notes of seasoned leather, pralines and a touch of the salty North Sea air. A slow long finish with gentle waves of dried fruit and silky tannins." (Producer's Tasting Notes)

Matured in refill American oak hogsheads & ex-bourbon barrels, this Pittyvaich bottling was part of Diageo's Special Releases in 2015. Lots of nutty cereal and almond notes, with mango and lemon tart. Very moreish. Established in 1975 and closed in 1993, this Speyside distillery with a short lived history is rarely seen as a Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Very interestingly this bottling is older than the distillery's life itself Nose: Fragrant, malty cereals with a syrupy and creamy note. Palate: Floral with malt, a heavy and rich thick palate with some natural waxiness at the same time Finish: Subtle oak overlayed with white and dark chocolate tones.

About 6,000 bottles were released globally.

Distilled in 1989 and bottled at natural cask strength after being aged for 20 Years by Diageo this is a limited edition release of 6000 bottles. The now demolished distillery of Pittyvaich was built in 1975 and had a short lived history until 1993. The distillery has now been demolished.

Distilled in the Winter of 1983 (most likely in the first few months of 1983 before the Port Ellen Distillery closed permanently in May 1983) at Port Ellen and matured in a Sherry Butt for 25 Years, this rare single malt was bottled by Douglas McGibbon & Co in Autumn in 2008. "On the nose, this Port Ellen is oceanic with seaweed, iodine and a character of fresh leather. The palate opens with rich smoke and creasote and develops sweetness with burnt caramel. The finish remains sweet with bonfire ashes and cloves" - Bottler Tasting Notes.

This Islay single malt from Port Ellen distillery is an independent bottle from The McGibnon's Provenance range, distilled in Spring of 1983, matured in single sherry butt #2102 and bottled in Summer of 2005. "A marriage of the sea and fruitiness on the nose, enjoy its saline and marine quality alongside the nuances of its Sherry Cask heritage. On the palate, an initially dry fore-taste runs to pepperiness, softened by the characteristics of the cask. The finish is long, warming, smokey plus the archetypal old leather from Port Ellen which runs on and on, tinged late by sea-weed and iodine.
