This Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in June 1990 at the Macallan Distillery and aged for 31 years in an ex-Bourbon cask. In 2021, it was finished in a Mizunara Japanese Oak cask, sourced from Hokkaido's slow-growing, 200-year-old trees, which offer a tight grain ideal for maturation. This unique process makes the whisky as rare a whisky as this 1990 Macallan a bold endeavor. The resulting spirit is, the final piece in this unique journey through whisky history.

This release is the longest Macallan finished in Mizunara, having spent nearly two years in the cask. The accompanying box, made from Nazareno (purple heart) wood, features a sliding door design using rare earth magnets, completing the trilogy in style.

Matured exclusively in spanish oloroso sherry butts, this A'bunadh is the Batch 67 release from Aberlour. A'bunadh means "The Original" in Gaelic and is a respectful toast to the founder of Aberlour, James Fleming. Bottled at cask strength, this is an intensely rich sherried whisky. Aroma of spices, pralines, spiced oranges with a palate of black cherries, ginger and dark chocolate. The finish is long and balanced with hints of oak.

Usually a vatting of 5 - 25 year old Whiskies, the A'bunadh range is a highly awarded release from this distillery.

Ardbeg 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is one of the peatiest and most complex whiskies globally. It balances intense peat with the natural sweetness of malt. Awarded World Whisky of the Year in 2008, it has a light gold color and aromas of smoky fruit, zesty lemon and lime, and waxy dark chocolate. On the palate, it offers crackling peat, tangy citrus, black pepper, and cinnamon-spiced toffee, alongside briny notes of buttermilk, ripe bananas, and currants. The finish is long and rich, featuring dry espresso, liquorice root, and tarry smoke.

Released between 2001 and 2004, the 1977 vintage is a rare old bottling from Ardbeg. This particular bottle, we believe was released in 2001. A full bodied perfect balance of sweetness, fruit and intense smoky aromas with hints of toffee and fudge followed by mandarin fruit.

This bottling has been rated 90+ points on Whiskybase (by over 500 reviewers).  Please note the slight damage on the box.

This is the general release (hence called Untamed Release) of 2011 Ardbeg Committee Release - Alligator - named such due to the high level of char of the virgin American White Oak casks used for maturation, which makes the inside of the cask surface look like an alligator skin. 

Color: Gold Nose: Smoked root ginger and barbeque sauce with chocolate, cumin and warm oak shavings in the background Palate: Hot and spicy, smoked and charred with a leathery and sooty mouth feel.
