This Bruichladdich 25 years is a very special edition originally released for the Travel Retail market. An unpeated Islay Single Malt whisky with complex maturation (executed in collaboration with winemaker Jan Pettersen) which includes Oloroso Sherry and PX (Pedro Ximinez) Sherry Casks. Finding a Bruichladdich matured in Sherry Casks is quite unusual since the new make is fairly delicate and floral and the folks at Bruichladdich are extra careful that the maturation in Sherry Casks should not overpower these distillery characteristics.

Nose: Layers of orange zest, heather honey, cinnamon, butterscotch and sticky raisins, with notes of mocha lingering in the background. Taste: Bursts of orange zest, heather honey and damsons, followed by lashings of mocha, dark chocolate, cinnamon, figs and dates. A 1993 Vintage special bottling from the GlenDronach distillery (11/06/1993), matured for 27 years in a Single Pedro Ximenex (PX) Sherry Puncheon Cask. Nose: Plum and blackberry liqueur with chocolate and hazelnut praline, and the warmth of freshly baked gingerbread. Appearance: Dark mahogany. Palate: Spiced fruitcake with treacle and angelica crescendos to demerara sugar, star anise and lingering espresso cream. (Producer's Tasting Notes). Limited to 692 bottles.

A 2005 Vintage Single Cask #1926 special bottling from the GlenDronach distillery, matured for 13 years in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Cask for the Taiwan market and bottled at an impressive 57.3% ABV. Deep copper in color, and a nose of aromatic sandalwood, winter spice and creme caramel, the palate is full of sweet and mellow almonds, orange and walnut cream with lingering cocoa (Producer's Tasting notes). 705 bottles were released in 2019. A 2008 Vintage special bottling from the GlenDronach distillery, matured for 11 years in Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks from Spain and selected by Rachel Barrie for the Professional Danish Retailers. With a burnished copper hue and aroma of honey, spices, hazelnut and raisins, the palate is rich in creamy malt, toasted oak, chocolates and honeycomb with a lingering finish of nutmeg and crystallized ginger. A limited release of about 3500 bottles in 2019.

GlenDronach 21 years old is named Parliament after the parliament of rooks guarding the warehouse of the distillery. This whisky is a marraige of spirit matured in Pedro Ximenez casks and Oloroso Sherry casks from Andalucia in Spain. A full bodied and richly sherried whisky, with notes of elegant ripe blueberries, plums, candied orange, pudding. A finish which is warm with dark chocolate treacle.

Palate: Brown sugar and malty sweetness then orange peel, citrus, dark chocolate and waves of sherry sweetness. Finish: Chocolate coated raisins, oak smoke, mixed spices and lasting PX sweetness. This Laphroaig SELECT release celebrates the 200 Years Anniversary of the Laphroaig Distillery.

Laphroaig Select is aged in a combination of First Fill Ex-Bourbon Quarter Casks, Pedro Ximenez Sherry Hogsheads and Triple Wood (European Oak Casks) with the heart of the spirit being drawn from Whisky which has undergone a final maturation of about 6 months in New American Oak (Virgin) Casks placed in the highest parts of the warehouse to maximise the impact of the Scottish summer. In general it is quite unusual for Scotch Whisky maturation in New Oak Casks.

Awarded Gold Medal in 2020 & 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. 

Color: Sparkling good appearance with layered tones. Nose: Forward peat smoke followed quickly by ripe red fruits. Palate: Sweet at first, followed by peat smoke and dashes of ash and seaweed. Finish: Long finish with lingering floral notes. Finished in Pedro Ximenez Sherry Casks (as we understand, for two years after five years in first fill ex-Bourbon casks), this is a release from Paul John under their Select Cask series. Nose: Aromas of figs, apricots and tropical fruits  Palate: Malty notes interlaced with creamy butterscotch, dry fruits and Christmas cake.  Finish: Orange peel and chocolate fudge.

This is in fact a doublewood. We have combined whiskies matured in first fill bourbon barrels and PX Hogsheads, into a PX hogshead for a marrying period of several months. 

Nose: An enticing aroma of citrus intertwined with rich, dark chocolate and dried fruit. Palate: A harmonious blend of flavors including black forest gâteau, complemented by the deep, luscious notes from the PX cask. Finish: A deep and lingering finish that leaves a lasting impression.

The distillery uses high-quality barley from three family-owned farms in New Zealand's fertile South Island. This meticulous selection process, coupled with slow fermentation, distillation, and careful maturation in first-fill casks, gives Pōkeno Whisky its distinctive character.

This Single Cask was distilled on 30 April 2019 and bottled on 10 August 2022. After a full maturation in a first fill bourbon barrel this Single Cask was finished in a PX Sherry Butt from Miguel Martin, for a period of 6 months. A limited release of 880 bottles.

Nose: Rich and inviting aromas of ripe cherries, Christmas cake, and dark chocolate. Palate: A harmonious blend of sweet citrus and vanilla, complemented by the rich sherry influences.
